Singapore Day is a cultural cum cuisine based event organised by the Prime Minister’s Office Overseas Singaporean Unit. It is aimed at engaging Singaporeans residing overseas. It is held in different cities with a significant community of Overseas Singaporeans.
Mezmedia is proud to have been involved with all four Singapore Day events. Our scope involves the online marketing and web development aspect of the event. The event website has been constantly evolving for the better; with the streamlining of registrations, improvements in the user interface and delegate management.
Families and friends were considered in the registration process; and in order to make it more convenient, group registrations involving friends and families were allowed. As this tends to complicate the form, a step-by-step improved user interface was designed.
E-Ticketing and Barcoding
To facilitate onsite entry to the event, e-ticketing and barcoding was implemented. Registrants received special e-tickets in their emails which were printed and used as entry to the event. The e-ticket had a series of barcodes for each registrant, allowing for faster processing time.
